Liberon Easy French Polish is easy to use for beginners to furniture restoration and produces wonderful results quickly. A clear blend of shellac and resin, Liberon Easy French Polish is recommended for use on furniture, carved woodwork and the like, beautifully enhancing the wood's natural finish. Liberon Easy French Polish is best suited for use on small surfaces of 1 square metre or less and is ideal for beginners to furniture restoration and French polishing.In preparation treat any previously waxed surfaces with Wax & Polish Remover and remove any varnish with Fine Wood Stripper.  Sand with an extra fine abrasive and remove the dust with a tack cloth.Apply a thin coat using a flat lacquer brush or cloth in the direction of the grain, avoiding overlapping between brush strokes.  Allow 3-4 hours drying time between coats and rub each dried coat down gently with an ultra fine abrasive or grade 0000 steel wool. Apply as many coats as are needed in the same manner (3-4 coats are usually enough for a good finish).  For a higher gloss finish, use Burnishing Cream after the last coat of polish has hardened for at least 7 days.Coverage 8-10m2
